In The Scholar’s Way, we’ll unpack and work on solutions for the mindset issues that so many students and professionals preparing for exams face:

ď…€

Strengthening your motivations, clarifying your goals and overcoming your limiting beliefs



Prioritising tasks and managing time effectively – even when you’re overwhelmed

ď—Ť

Learning to handle pressure, anxiety, imposter syndrome and more



Restoring balance and finding the “sweet spot” – not working too much, not too little, and being comfortable you’re doing enough



Finding flow and focus each day – and simply enjoying the whole thing that much more!

students taking an exam

3 truths I passionately believe that form the basis of The Scholar’s Way

  1. We’re all different, our ups and downs are unique…
  2. … but we’re united by our potential to grow and level up
  3. And by investing a little time in ourselves in the most fundamental area of mindset, the rewards are huge in terms of making better and more consistent progress, and enjoying your studies that much more.

Do I promise to solve every mindset problem totally and forever in this course?

Of course not. That wouldn’t be a realistic promise. This stuff is the work of a lifetime.

But do I promise substantial progress, a real turning point you will likely look back on for years to come?

Absolutely.

Here’s how we’ll do it:

What I’ll Share Inside The Scholar’s Way

A powerful course format blending daily mini-lessons with reflection and support

30 days. 30 bitesize lessons. 30 little transformations.

A new lesson released every day for you to enjoy that day (or catch up on later).

For your convenience, choose between video lessons delivered to the course platform (or each day to your inbox – if you’d like!)

OR

Audio lessons as a private podcast feed in your normal podcast player.

Each day, a new prompt or challenge to feed heart and mind

Get the wheels turning: each lesson concludes with a prompt for you to consider and answer that day.

Some days will be practical: identifying, examining, problem-solving, improving. It’s time to tackle distractions, study routines and your work-life balance.

Other days will involve reflection on deeper subjects: we’ll be considering limiting beliefs, pressure, anxieties and confidence – and more!

“I’ve learned so much with William, and in particular, learned so much about myself. He’s not only helped me to start doing well in exams again, but helped me regain my confidence. I couldn’t be more grateful.”

The Scholar's Way conclusion: study superpowers

What's your study superpower

I can’t tell you how much you’ve changed my life. I know that’s quite a statement.

[Now] for the first time in my life, I’m motivated to 110% and I actually want to sit down and do maths along with other subjects. I’m always anxious, but I somehow feel that even if I don’t go as well as I imagined, I’m ready to try again. And I’m prepared to keep trying until I make it.

My perceptions, values, motivation and confidence has grown so much thanks to you. I’m ready for change and I’m ready now 🙂

BONUS: enjoy a full-length 1-hour Deep Rest session to find total calm and restore your energy

I’ve hired Deep Rest practitioner Camilla Walker to run a special “Deep Rest” session for all students of The Scholar’s Way.

An extra gift from me, which should perfectly complement some of the core themes of the course.

A Deep Rest session is a bit like a 1-hour meditation. People typically experience a profoundly restful, peaceful state.

Now, wouldn’t that be just the thing after all your hard work?

Your questions, answered:

How will the course materials be delivered?

On-demand material includes a daily video lesson and, if you wish, you can subscribe to a daily email with a link to the video plus the prompt for reflection.

For your convenience, we’ll also provide the lessons as a daily private podcast feed, right in your podcast app.

How long do I have access to the course materials?

The course materials won’t ever be “taken down” or anything – they’ll stay available on-demand in the course indefinitely.

If you buy lifetime access to the course, you’ll have access forever.

If you have access as part of the Study Smarter Network, that’s on a subscription basis, you’ll have access as long as you have a valid subscription.

How much time will the course take? Do I need to complete it in 30 days?

I recommend allowing 10-15 minutes per day for the lesson and the reflection / exercise each day.

If you fall behind, no problem, you can catch up at your leisure, though do note that how long you have access to the course materials will depend on the access option you choose (see the above FAQ “how long do I have to access the course materials”).

Who's this for?

This is for all scholars, students, learners, academics.

You might be a student at college or university.

You might be a professional taking exams as part of your career.

You might be working on a Masters or PhD in your chosen field, or even be a researcher or academic.

The challenges scholars face are common across all areas. The Scholar’s Way will attract a broad church. Our diversity is part of our strength; we can draw new ideas and fresh inspiration from those in different circumstances.

What's your refund policy?

We have put a lot of care and energy into The Scholar’s Way and we’re confident you’ll love it.

But if you need some additional reassurance, we do have a limited refund policy in place:

If you buy the course standalone ($145), you have 5 days to request a refund if you are not satisfied. Simply contact us william [at] examstudyexpert.com.

There are no refunds available on the Study Smarter Network monthly plan, though you are welcome to cancel your plan after just one month if you don’t want to stay.

What support options are included?

If you enrol as a Study Smarter Network member, you have access for Q&A and personalised guidance via a private support app (Voxer).

Can I revisit this course?

Yes!

You’ll have lifetime access to The Scholar’s Way and can work through any of the videos and prompts again – any time you want.

“As an educator myself, I was very discerning when seeking support for our son. As a college freshman double-majoring in Biology and Chemistry, he would often lock himself away in a study room for 14 hours at time, but retain very little from it.

After failing several exams, we were desperate to help him.

I knew I needed to find someone to teach him not just how to study, but how to shift his mindset.

We found that in the Exam Study Expert in the very first session.

We are so happy to have found the Exam Study Expert to not only teach our son how to study to achieve the grades he is aiming for, but to help navigate the experience in a healthy, positive way.

Shaping a positive and effective mindset is the most important strategy that William teaches.

As parents, we are forever grateful.”

Inspiration credit & a tip if you run your own tutoring or other online business...

The Scholar’s Way was inspired by The Online Business Playground®, by the wonderful Elizabeth Goddard. The overall 30-day format with daily prompts, the “fun, freedom and flow” promise, and two out of the 30 specific lessons in The Scholar’s Way (on “future you” and “where you have your best ideas”) are all closely inspired by The Online Business Playground.

(The remaining 28 / 30 lessons are drawn from a wide range of sources, including my own original ideas I’ve developed over years of coaching experience, and in every case, I give my own unique spin on a given idea as is relevant to students / scholars).

I love The Online Business Playground®, it had an incredible impact on my life as an entrepreneur / business owner, which is why I wanted to follow the same course formula to help students and scholars undergo a similar transformation in their academic mindset. If you are interested in the original course, I highly recommend it to any fellow entrepreneurs, freelancers and business owners, and have provided a link below:
